LOCAL ARTISTS ROCK!! (if you're from the bay lol) pt. 1

Roberto Antonio is a young, talented artist from Oakland California. He is a great performer; I've seen him rap, act, and dance on stage, and I'm sure he has a lot of other talents off the stage as well. Today I want to highlight his music because I could not get the chorus from his new song "Everywhere I Go" out of my head today at work. (download after the jump)

Roberto is only my age (19=YOUNGSTER!!) and he is definitely makin moves. Yay for young, creative, multi-talented people who get shit done and create a product for others to enjoy! Thanks and blessings Berto!

This week I've been playing TV on the Radio's album "Dear Science" to fall asleep to. I hadn't heard any of it yet even though it came out last year, but I'm always late.  It's great though. Chill enough to put you to sleep but interesting enough to provoke some cool dreams lol. But this is also a great album to listen to when you're not about to fall asleep. Here are a couple of my favorite tracks.

In the theme of science I wanted to post the new Murs video "The Science." I was glued to the screen the first time I saw it.

Guess who's back, back again...

More like GUESS WHO'S WHACK!!!! ugh. Eminem you have let me down. How are you going to disappear and when you make your come back, you come with the exact same formula that was already played when you disappeared. 

Eminem dropped his new single "We Made You" and yes, like every first single he was ever dropped it is a corny song where he raps in an ambiguous accent about celebrity bullshit. He didn't even bust on anyone creatively, he just called out the same old bitches that ALLLLWAYYYYS get called out. 

The video was also just like any other video he's released for one of these corny songs. I was going to post it for context but it honestly doesn't deserve to be on another blog because it's already all over the place. 

I was so ready to take Em serious again as a heavy weight in the game. The way MCs are making come backs these days I thought Em would be a top contender, but I'm really disappointed that he didn't do anything shocking or different for his big come back. He might as well have left his hair blonde. Smh

Hopefully I will bite my tongue once I hear the rest of the album, but if I hear one fucking song about his daughter I will be maaaaaaaaad! I WANT THAT NEW NEWWWWWWW!!!!!
