I had a great day at work yesterday! Not only did we get two really awesome new movies, but Goapele came to see one of them!!! I'm glad she picked "Ponyo" and not "District 9" because she was with her very cute young daughter who might not have appreciated the aliens being tortured and terminated in "District 9." (awesome movie though!!!!)

Goapele looked GREAT!!! (duuuuh) And I'm so happy she supports local theatres like Grand Lake, the same way I love to support local artists like her! Here's her new video "Milk & Honey."

LOCAL ARTISTS ROCK!! (if you're from the bay lol) pt. 1

Roberto Antonio is a young, talented artist from Oakland California. He is a great performer; I've seen him rap, act, and dance on stage, and I'm sure he has a lot of other talents off the stage as well. Today I want to highlight his music because I could not get the chorus from his new song "Everywhere I Go" out of my head today at work. (download after the jump)

Roberto is only my age (19=YOUNGSTER!!) and he is definitely makin moves. Yay for young, creative, multi-talented people who get shit done and create a product for others to enjoy! Thanks and blessings Berto!

Back in the Day

I've been back in Oakland for a little over a month now and it is time to go! The Bay has been so refreshing, and I probably wouldn't be so anxious to leave if it wasn't for the fact that I'm living with my parents!!!! AAAHHHH!!! 

I found out this summer that they're going to be selling the house I lived in since I was 1 and a 1/2 years old. This morning I spent some time to appreciate my backyard. It's hella beautiful thanks to my lovely grandma Lou and her amazing gardening skills. Here are some pictures I took of her beautiful flowers.

It's pretty sexy. I never got good at doing tricks but i used to pedal this fatboy allll around the Bay. Good good memories. I put it up for a bill on craigslist but this can be negotiated if anyone's interested!! HOLLLERRRRRRR!
