I had a great day at work yesterday! Not only did we get two really awesome new movies, but Goapele came to see one of them!!! I'm glad she picked "Ponyo" and not "District 9" because she was with her very cute young daughter who might not have appreciated the aliens being tortured and terminated in "District 9." (awesome movie though!!!!)

Goapele looked GREAT!!! (duuuuh) And I'm so happy she supports local theatres like Grand Lake, the same way I love to support local artists like her! Here's her new video "Milk & Honey."

Shakira is HOTTT!

I love her because her lyrics can be so outta pocket, like the line in "Whenever, Wherever": "lucky that my breasts are small and humble, so that you don't confuse them with mountains." Also her dancing is so awkward to me but still sexy somehow, particularly in her new video "She Wolf."

I also like the lyrics to the song.  First, for the corny metaphors like, "I'm starting to feel just a little abused like a coffee machine in an office," and also all the hints that Shakira is coming out of the closet!! WOOOOOOOOO!!! 

Electrik Red

I'm at work right now writing a lesson plan but that got boring so I decided to take a little break and visit my favorite new girls Electrik Red! They are the hottest female group since...actually, they are just the hottest group EVER!! Besides the fact they are all beautiful and sexy, they've also got swag. From clothing, to dancing, to lyrics, these ladies are on point. They just dropped the video for "So Good Remix" with Lil Wayne. I'm sure they will blow up after people get put onto that, but for the record the original video without weezy is ten times better.
